Hand built Eastern Redbud Leaf tray with foliage impression.  The tray was made using lovely heart shaped leaves from one Eastern Redbud trees here on our farm.  Speckled Brownstone clay was utilized to form the body of the piece.  Both sides of the piece show leaf texture and impressions.  We used one of the wooden anvils from Pate Woodworks to form the rounded leaf shape.  The Redbud Leaf Tray was finished using True Celadon glaze for natural leaf green color and texture.  This tray was created by hand as an individual piece of art, yet it is highly functional for everyday use.  Food Safe.  Hand wash.  7x5.5x1
